It did not mean that every other cheesy metal guitarist afterwards sounded just like VanHalen, but simply that it expanded the vocabulary with which said cheesy guitarists had available to express their cheesy selves. Andres has certainly borrowed freely from the Adrias (btw, that ladle technique with liquid nitrogen is Albert's as well), but most of the dishes are his own interpretation and (de-)construction.
